Investar Welcomes Byron Breaux as Acadiana Market President

Lafayette, La. – Investar Bank, National Association (“Investar”) hired Byron Breaux as its new Acadiana Market President and Senior Vice President. Breaux has over 35 years of banking experience. He has spent his entire banking career serving the Lafayette community. He joins Investar most recently from Hancock Whitney Bank where he was the Senior Group Manager for the middle market, and has spent the last 20 years with them.

As the Acadiana Market President, Breaux will oversee Investar’s entire Acadiana footprint which includes two Lafayette branches and three branches in Evangeline Parish. He will be responsible for growing the Bank’s market share through existing relationships while developing new relationships.

Breaux holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette. He is also a graduate of the LSU School of Banking and attended the Leadership Institute of Acadiana’s Leadership Lafayette in 2000. He is actively involved in the Lafayette community as a Board Member serving on several committees with One Acadiana and is a Finance Committee Member of Community Foundation of Acadiana.
