Investar Bank Promotes Guidry to Chief Information Officer

Baton Rouge, La. – Investar Bank has recently promoted Marcel Guidry to Chief Information Officer. For the past two and a half years, Guidry has served as the Information Technology (IT) Director and during this time Investar has doubled the number of branches that his team supports. With the recent acquisition of The Highlands Bank, he oversees IT operations for 21 Investar locations. Guidry has more than 20 years of experience in IT, and has worked around the globe managing teams and implementing technology solutions.

Guidry holds a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University and the following certifications: CCNP, CCVP, MCSE. He resides in Baton Rouge with his wife and daughter.
