Investar Completes Acquisition of Corporate Headquarters

June 1, 2020

Baton Rouge, La. – Investar Bank, National Association (“Investar”) announced today the purchase of the first floor at its Corporate Headquarters, located at 10500 Coursey Blvd. in Baton Rouge. The purchase gives Investar complete ownership of Investar Tower. The Bank originally purchased the third floor six years ago and acquired the second floor in August 2016 when the Clerk of Court, the former second floor tenant, made plans to relocate.

“Our plans are to create a world-class building environment for Investar and the building’s tenants,” John D’Angelo, President & CEO, Investar, said. “Owning the entire building now completes the re-branding efforts for Investar Tower,” continued D’Angelo.

Investar is proud to be headquartered in Baton Rouge as it continues to embark on its multi-state growth strategy. Renovations at Investar Tower have been ongoing. The most impactful transformations include an exterior facelift and branding the building as Investar Tower. Currently, the parking lot is being resurfaced, with the final touch of landscaping scheduled later this year. To share its newly updated space with the community, the Bank plans to host an open house event once all renovations are completed and capacity limits are lifted.
