Investar Bank Welcomes New Mortgage Loan Officer
Baton Rouge, La. – Investar Bank recently hired Kim Hoang as a Mortgage Loan Officer and Vice President to serve the Baton Rouge and New Orleans markets. Hoang has nearly 20 years’ experience specializing in mortgage lending, and brings knowledge of business banking. Hoang joins Investar from Home Bank where she served as a Mortgage Banker.
As a Mortgage Loan Officer, Hoang is responsible for growing Investar’s mortgage loan portfolio and supporting the branch network by developing business contacts and enhancing current relationships and attracting new mortgage customers all while delivering superior customer service. She excels in meeting and exceeding her clients’ mortgage needs.

Hoang is bilingual and provides support for the Vietnamese community in various ways. She assists with translation for financial education and banking services in her community, as well as helping new immigrants with their English. Hoang is a parishioner of St. George Catholic Church and spends time volunteering for various church and school activities. She also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. Hoang holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University.
